    Nikhil Anand is an assistant professor of anthropology at Haverford College. He received a PhD in Cultural and Social Anthropology at Stanford University in 2011 and a Master's in Environmental Science from Yale University in 2004. His research examines how cities are materialized and governed through hydraulic infrastructure networks.

    Trained in environmental history and the history of science, Professor Kroll is interested in the literal intersection of culture and nature. His current project is an interdisciplinary history of the people, places, and animals that mingle together in the age of mass-mobility.
